PROOFING OUR ENVIRONMENT
OUR FUTURE STRATEGY
We focus on not only having an environmentally friendly finished product but a sustainable build process. Ensuring this we source our key components from the U.K only, the furthest product travelling from Newcastle. The positive impact of our supply chain aligns with the companies Green Policy and overall reduced carbon footprint. As we ontinue to grow and improve in this direction we are aiming to have the company running off solar by the end of 2024.
We recognise the positive benefits of boosting the local economy, reducing our carbon footprint, and strengthening relationships with the community by creating job opportunities. Our aim is to be truly representative of all sections of society, and for employees to feel respected, free to be themselves no matter what their identity or background, and able to give their best. We value the differences that a variety of backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and skills brings and strongly encourage suitably qualified applicants to apply and join us.
sustain to remain
Our business operations are fundamentally rooted in environmental considerations. We have taken stock of the environmental impacts that our operations and manufacturing processes, product materials, and vehicles have, and we are actively taking measures to address these impacts. To demonstrate our commitment to sustainability, we have estimated that our electric conversion process results in a 50% reduction in embodied carbon compared to that of other new electric vehicle, equating to approximately 5,500 kgCO2e.
